preliminary task- our roles!

We decided that each person in the group needed a taste for new ground and so had to play a part in something they haven't done before.

So Aaron and Aidan have agreed to share camera work and filming, Harry Beth and Aidan are playing backing dancers, and im planned to be a back up britney if we cannot get Lauren Skinner (who used to be a media student) to play britney. Lauren used to do dance and so we think this would work well as we could use her experience to our advantage. If Lauren can play britney i will become a backing dancer.

This way we each get a turn to experience and gain new skills through making our preliminary task video.

Throughout the first stages of planning we wanted to gain research on the britney spears video and so we have set ourselves individual tasks to do to analyse the video. Harry collected screen shots so we could analyse what shots were used and why so we can recreate them and get an idea of how to use our camera.

Beth looked at the different costumes shown in the video and what they represent and how we could recreate these.

Aiden looked at how the lighting was used throughout the video to create different effects.

and i looked at the camera angles and movement which would be teamed up with Harry's screen shots.

I am also looking at creating costumes for our actors and drawing out the basics so we can all get a rough idea of what to wear and how it will look.
